The alpha PDS website design was foundational to what was later shipped both internally and externally as “Gestalt”. The scope of work included a new website design to better serve both design and engineering, illustration, and migration and optimization of an extensive corpus of existing component and foundational documentation. Icons
Recruited to PDS to create a process to optimize production of Susan Kare’s icon work and endorse her as creative director, owing to a company reorganization, I inherited her role which I successfully held for the subsequent 5 years.

The “Mono” icon redesign, created with only two primitives, one line weight, and one ellipse size, was proposed as a solution that would be more consistently accomplished by others while complimenting the Pinterest brand and custom typeface Pinterest Sans. Article: Pinterest Sans by Grilli Type
